The Center on Innovation and Improvement:
The Center on Innovation and Improvement helps states and school districts improve student learning by implementing the choice provisions of NCLB; increasing the number and quality of charter schools; and ensuring equitable participation of private school students and teachers in federal programs for which they are eligible.

Research

Comprehensive School Reform: A Meta-Analysis:
Research by Geoffrey Borman of the University of Wisconsin as well as researchers from Johns Hopkins University, and the University of North Carolina focusing on the achievement effects of 29 comprehensive school reform programs.

What Works Clearinghouse:
This U.S. Department of Education Web site summarizes the evidence of effects of education interventions in topics such as drop-out prevention, math curricula, character education, and beginning reading.
