Across the country, cities and regions have used community-wide partnerships to improve the educational attainment of their citizens. The most established of these partnerships have seen substantial education gains during their tenure. In 2008, BHEF committed to helping its Kentucky members and their peers improve educational attainment in the region through a cross-sector effort. Read here for a description of the project. In 2009, BHEF delivered the Louisville Blueprint for Community Action to concerned stakeholders from the community. This Blueprint has served as the foundation for the community's education improvement efforts.
