Programs to Watch

In the process of finding Programs that Work to feature on StrategicEdSolutions.org, we discovered a number of important, but as of yet unproven programs that seek to improve college readiness and access.

These Programs to Watch met the initial screening criteria for StrategicEdSolutions.org but did not meet all of the inclusion criteria to be classified a Program that Works.  What does this mean?  Most frequently, Programs to Watch are exactly the type we would like to profile on this site but they currently lack the evidence of impact necessary to accurately label them as a Program that Works.  As more evidence becomes available, these programs will be re-evaluated and, when appropriate, moved to the Programs that Work section of the site.

In the meantime, programmatic contact information is provided for each of these Programs to Watch as well as a synopsis of the evidence reviewed when first evaluating the program.  We encourage you to explore these programs and determine what questions you need answered prior to implementing one in your community.  Questions or comments?  Email programs@bhef.com.
