Program Description
With the help of local businesses, private donors, and government, the program provides a guaranteed scholarship to any Pittsburgh public high school student with at least a 2.5 GPA, a 90% attendance record, and proven financial need. The scholarships will finance students at any higher education institution funded by the state of Pennsylvania. Eligible students will receive up to $5,000 for each year and must maintain a college GPA of at least 2.0 to receive funds.
Available Evidence
The program has publicaly available descriptive data, including the number of participants, and participating institutions. However, no statistical analyses have been conducted.
