Creating Effective Change
To be effective, efforts to improve education should focus on the issues that matter most: improving student achievement and college readiness, access, and success from preschool through graduate school (“the P-20 pipeline”). They should be based on sound evidence of success. Additionally, as reflected on this site, high impact investments in education:
- Involve collaboration among a variety of stakeholders.
-
Focus on one or more "keys to improvement" that leverage change.
-
Are systemic and aligned with school districts’ own improvement activities.
